Yes, during the planning stages your dentist will take an impression or a scan of your teeth. SureSmile will then send back a digital representation of the final result, this will give you a very good idea of what you can expect at the end of your treatment.

During your SureSmile fit appointment we will try in your new bespoke clear aligners to check their fit and provide you with the next few aligners in the sequence to get you going.

During the visit some teeth will usually require some composite attachments adding to them, this is a simple procedure that is carried out by your dentist in your dental clinic. Often, some extra space is required in between your teeth for the process, your dentist will remove a small amount of enamel in specific locations in between your teeth using special strips.

Invisalign uses discrete aligners which are quite difficult to distinguish, so you can straighten your teeth without people really noticing.

The aligners are removable, this makes eating and cleaning your teeth much easier when compared to fixed braces.

Brackets and wires are not used in SureSmile, making the process much easier to carry out and fewer appointments are therefore required for adjustments, meaning less time in the dental practice for the patient.
