Examination

Provide strength to compromised teeth

The most important appointment you should make with your dentist is an examination. At Kibworth Dental we really value preventative and minimally invasive dentistry.

Prevention is always better than cure and therefore regular examinations will really help to decrease the likelihood of dental problems occurring.

During your examination with us you will get a chance to speak to your dentist about any concerns or desires you may have. Your dentist will carefully listen to these and may ask you some questions regarding your oral hygiene before carrying out a clinical assessment.

They will check for any manifestations of dental problems outside of your mouth before carrying out a soft tissue and hard tissue check. The dentist will always carry out an oral cancer screening during your examination.

Some further records may also be taken during your appointment such as photographs and x-rays to help the dentist diagnose any problems and to help them communicate any findings back to you in a clear and effective way.
